ミャンマーの行政区分であるモン州は、東にカレン州、タイとの短い国境を接しています。この布はモン族の伝統的なセットアップ用の生地です。上部には豊富な模様があり、下部は明るい色のストライプと無地が特徴的です。この生地は、モン族の文化を象徴する伝統的な衣装として使用されており、100年以上の歴史を持つ糸で手織りされているため、非常に柔らかい質感が魅力です。トップスと巻きスカートのセットを作れるサイズで、ミャンマー国内でも非常に人気があります。

The upper part of the fabric is full of patterns, and the bottom is between the bright color stripes and plain fabric. This fabric is a traditional piece of clothing for the Mon people of Myanmar, and is a distinctive feature of their culture. The fabric is very soft because it is hand-woven with 100-year old thread.It is a very popular material in Myanmar! The dimensions are such that you can make a top and wrap skirt as a set. There are 3 yards (2.7 meters) in oneset of cloth.
