ラカイン民族の伝統布です。
ラカイン布の魅力は、ビルマ族のアチェッ模様（波形）っぽいデザインに、
ミャンマーのカノケデザインとアチェイ柄をミックスしたユニークさ。
模様だけじゃなく、縦縞の線模様が入ってて、シンプルだけど個性が光る伝統的な布です。

現地ミャンマーでも大変人気のある素材です！

Traditional Ethnic Pattern Fabric from Myanmar - Rakhine Ethnic Group

Rakhine is located on the western coast of Myanmar, bordered by Chin State to the north, the Ayeyarwady Region to the east, the Bay of Bengal to the west, and the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh to the northwest. This fabric is traditional to the Rakhine ethnic group.

The charm of Rakhine fabric lies in its unique design, which resembles the wave patterns of the Burmese ethnic "Acheik" style while also mixing the "Kanoke" design and Acheik patterns from Myanmar. In addition to the patterns, the fabric features vertical stripe motifs, making it simple yet distinctive and representative of traditional textiles.

This material is extremely popular locally in Myanmar!

The fabric can be used to create a set-up with a top and a wrap skirt, and here are the details:
